This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Serve as the primary leader responsible for the overall performance of Johnson Control’s Federal projects, which involve multiple medical facilities and hospitals across various locations in South Korea, Japan, and Guam, typically with a scope of $50M or more.
• Assist in the development of program efforts, management plans, and monitor progress.
• Create cost estimates.
• Present current and projected performance to Executive Management.
• Assess and review overall subcontracting strategies.
• Maintain relationships with Principal contractors.
• Supervise monthly performance evaluations of strategic programs and provide management with reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of assigned projects.
• Verify that project document controls comply with contract requirements.
• Manage overall program asset management, including collections, cost control, progress billings, and payables.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in the construction and renovation of healthcare facilities.
• Demonstrated advanced skills in Construction/Project management.
• Capable of managing multiple large projects with a value of $50M or more.
• Possess high-level competencies in Construction Management processes.
• Proven history of managing very large and complex projects within time constraints and budget.
• Ability to oversee and coordinate the construction process from conceptual development through to completion.
• Strong understanding of contract language and project accounting.
• Excellent presentation abilities and proficiency in addressing large audiences.
• Capable of leading and directing diverse teams.
• Proficient in using personal computers, specifically MS Office and basic Windows environments.
• Familiar with standard construction industry software, including scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience with Construction/Project Management Software, with Procore being preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the necessary government security clearance.
• Proficiency in Korean or Japanese would be advantageous.

• Travel requirement: Approximately 50% (if not residing in Japan or South Korea).
