This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research and address inquiries pertaining to the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
• Evaluate inquiries and determine suitable responses
• Investigate intricate policy and programmatic requirements
• Compose written replies using clear and straightforward language
• Maintain accurate documentation outlining research, understanding of inquiries, and rationale for responses
• Utilize the inquiry response system and database to gather pertinent submitter information
• Oversee an individual dashboard and apply reviewer feedback
• Recognize inquiry patterns and suggest or modify knowledgebase content
• Prioritize cases, identify escalation and troubleshooting needs, and monitor outcomes
• Spot opportunities for process enhancements and advise the Operations Manager on productivity and efficiency improvements
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on inquiry responses related to regulatory changes impacting in-person assisters and healthcare clients
• Assess the inquiry responses of team members for quality, accuracy, format, and grammar
• Provide constructive feedback on responses
• Engage in client meetings and record notes
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of relevant full-time experience in research, analysis, writing, and/or customer service
• At least 2 years of experience managing written and verbal inquiries concerning healthcare, the ACA, and/or related matters
• Advanced experience in researching complex policy and/or programmatic needs
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills for customer service
• Proficient in using plain language to formulate written responses
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Relevant experience in triaging, routing, and resolving inquiries
• Candidate must be able to secure Public Trust clearance
• Candidate must have resided in the United States for at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years
• Work visa sponsorship will not be available
• Familiarity with or experience using a Salesforce system
• Ability to manage time efficiently, set priorities, and work under deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and capability to multitask
• Proven presentation and public speaking abilities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and qualitative skills
• High level of initiative combined with rapid learning capability
• Significant professional maturity and sound decision-making skills
• Established team player with robust relationship-building skills both internally and externally
