This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Convert intricate claims, clinical, and member healthcare data into straightforward, actionable insights.
• Collaborate with analysts to assess data requirements and outline analytical strategies for designated projects.
• Assist in analyses that guide operational and clinical decision-making.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets utilizing relational databases.
• Aid in the development of descriptive, classification, and predictive algorithms for clinical operations workflows.
• Ensure data quality validation and uphold the integrity of data outputs.
• Facilitate ad hoc analytical investigations and broader modeling, reporting, and analytical tasks.
• Participate in team initiatives and process enhancement projects.
• Report directly to the Biomedical Informatics Manager.
• Execute additional responsibilities consistent with the role, as assigned.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including foundational exposure to analytical tools through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to think analytically and approach challenges in a systematic, logical way.
• Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and predominantly remote environment.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams.
• Availability to work from 8:30am to 5pm in the Central time zone.
• Home internet connection supporting a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• A dedicated workspace free from continuous interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
• A Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
