This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create and implement sales and access strategies for Sobi Rare Disease products.
• Meet set goals for the designated region and specific institutions, hospitals, and healthcare systems.
• Collaborate across departments to facilitate patient access to therapies in hospitals and other healthcare settings in accordance with product labeling.
• Organize Sobi teams to engage with health system stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, P&T committees, Pharmacy Directors, and external experts.
• Synchronize account-based initiatives with Market Access, Patient Services, and medical teams.
• Communicate on-label scientific information that translates into practical clinical applications.
• Provide education to clinicians on diagnostic criteria and available testing options.
• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and deliver product and disease information that supports patient-care protocols.
• Foster and channel rare disease advocacy that aligns with label-consistent patient protocols.
• Guide Sobi products through critical pathways and engage with C- and D-suite stakeholders.
• Establish connections with thought leaders and identify emerging KOLs through residency, fellowship, multidisciplinary teams, in-service training, and educational programs.
• Identify, prioritize, clinically manage, and sell to physician and administration/leadership stakeholders.
• Formulate and execute business plans alongside cross-functional team members.
• Create and implement account plans that align with national and regional strategies, including priorities, objectives, action plans, targets, network maps, and personnel coordination.
• The preferred candidate will reside in North Texas.
• A four-year college degree in a scientific/medical or business discipline, or equivalent experience, is required.
• 8–12 years of proven field sales experience.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of intricate institutional experience in the Rare Disease, Specialty Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Medical Device sector.
• Experience with the complexities of biologic distribution and acquisition at the inpatient level is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with navigating health system formulary pathways and the intricate access/reimbursement landscape.
• Outstanding account and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong customer management abilities.
• Solid clinical understanding with demonstrated experience in complex diseases, preferably in rare diseases.
• Proven success in having medical benefit products added to hospital formularies.
• Previous experience collaborating with Pediatric and Adult Rheumatology and/or Hematology/Oncology physicians is advantageous.
