Health & Safety Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Ensure compliance with Polish occupational health and safety regulations (Kodeks pracy, rozporządzenia BHP).

• Perform workplace risk assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation.

• Organize and provide necessary OSH training for new employees as well as periodic refreshers.

• Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses, preparing thorough reports.

• Coordinate medical examinations (badania wstępne, okresowe, kontrolne).

• Collaborate with PIP, Sanepid, and other regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to standards.

• Maintain OSH records and internal audit schedules.

• Advise management on improvements in safety practices and updates to legal requirements.

• Foster a safe and engaging work environment while promoting employee health.

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education or a post-graduate certificate in BHP/OSH (as per Rozporządzenie MEN 2004).

• Demonstrated experience in an OSH role.

• Extensive knowledge of Polish labor laws and BHP regulations.

• Proficiency in Polish (mandatory).

• Knowledge of English is an advantage.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong organizational capabilities.
