This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Oversee the complete product development and benefit design process for IFP and employer-sponsored health plans, from initial concept to operational rollout.
β’ Take ownership of plan design decisions, ensuring that benefit structures are competitive, compliant, and in line with Harbor Health's payvider model and member-focused approach.
β’ Act as the main point of contact between internal teams β including Operations, Clinical, Network, Actuarial, and Regulatory β to ensure alignment on product intentions and operational frameworks.
β’ Collaborate with external vendors and partners to guarantee clear communication and effective execution of benefit and product strategies.
β’ Simplify complex plan design concepts into straightforward operational guidance for cross-functional teams.
β’ Keep track of regulatory and market changes that affect IFP and employer products and proactively adapt product strategies as necessary.
β’ Assist in creating scalable processes and documentation as Harbor Health expands its product offerings.
β’ Work in partnership with Actuarial on pricing inputs and with Regulatory on filing and compliance obligations.
β’ Proven experience in health plan product development or benefit design within an IFP, employer, or managed care setting.
β’ Strong comprehension of health insurance plan structures, benefit configurations, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ACA, TDI).
β’ Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional projects and align stakeholders across varied teams.
β’ Exceptional communication and relationship management skills β able to connect strategic intent with operational execution.
β’ Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup environment with shifting priorities and organizational structures.
