Health Data Analyst – Medicaid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire and connect Medicaid claims with public health information.

• Develop disparity metrics based on race, ethnicity, location, and disability.

• Perform analyses and create dashboards tailored for program and policy stakeholders.

• Oversee data use agreements along with privacy and security protocols.

• Compose methodology sections and research summaries.

• Provide qualifications and historical performance narratives for WIL proposals upon authorization of naming.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in analyzing Medicaid, claims, or public health data.

• Background in health equity or disparities measurement.

• Proficient in SQL and either R, Python, or SAS.

• Experience in data governance and HIPAA regulations.

• Ability to collaborate as a project-based contract worker; remote within the US.

• Familiarity with acquiring federal health research data through data use agreements.

• Experience with state Medicaid agencies or public health departments.
