This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +24 more states.
• Managing both incoming and outgoing calls related to insurance, financial aid, and payment processing.
• Addressing billing and payment discrepancies using designated work queues and call pools.
• Providing information in response to inquiries from patients or account holders.
• Taking action to secure payments or establish payment arrangements for the client.
• Investigating and addressing client questions as necessary.
• Recording and overseeing payment arrangements.
• Complying with all relevant laws including FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and others.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Call Center or Customer Service role.
• Preferred knowledge or experience in medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance, and/or healthcare administration.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Displays flexibility in scheduling and tasks, including the availability for regular evening and Saturday shifts.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
• Bilingual candidates will provide additional assistance for bilingual calls.
