Head of Wallet Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Management of Wallets: Serve as the product owner for crypto wallets, providing industry-leading CEX services for the safekeeping of crypto deposits and withdrawals.

• Supervise the daily functions of exchange wallets, including handling deposits and withdrawals.

• Track blockchain transactions to ensure prompt processing and address any delays or failures.

• Ensure the operational availability of exchange wallets.

• Facilitate and execute network upgrades, token events, and testing without any issues.

• Risk Management & Compliance: Monitor internal alerts and work alongside internal stakeholders and external entities to respond to incidents and establish safeguards.

• Regularly assess existing risks and controls to avert potential future impacts on the firm or its users.

• Process Improvement: Evaluate internal procedures and streamline or automate processes to boost efficiency and enhance user experience.

• Examine competitor products and industry trends to pinpoint opportunities for product or process improvements.

• Cross-Departmental & External Collaboration: Collaborate with Customer Support to address wallet-related user concerns.

• Lead strategic initiatives and partner with stakeholders across various departments to address customer challenges and improve user experience.

• Engage and communicate with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders.

• Business Development: Propel the growth strategy for the CEX business and develop/integrate new products to expand market share.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in crypto wallet operations, blockchain infrastructure, or a similar role.

• At least 8 years of experience in Product or Operations Management.

• Knowledge of various blockchain technologies including, but not limited to, EVM, Polkadot, and Cosmos.

• Familiarity with on-chain analysis tools, DeFi protocols, and emerging projects.

• Understanding of wallet infrastructure such as nodes, signing services, and wallet custody models (Hardware wallet, MPC, HSM, KSM, Embedded Custody).

• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Capability to remain composed under pressure and make informed decisions with comprehensive impact analysis.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, 24/7 crypto environment, demonstrating passion and self-motivation.

• Experience in Traditional Finance, specifically in Issuer Services & Custody, is advantageous.
