Head of Video

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of CoinPoker's video content strategy across both long-form and short-form platforms.

• Develop consistent content formats and series, identify target audiences, and define channel responsibilities.

• Oversee the production team and manage the entire content operation from initial planning to final delivery.

• Recruit, supervise, and mentor editors and specialized content roles.

• Manage the pipeline from long-form to short-form content, including Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

• Create and organize video content for marketing campaigns, product launches, and tournament series.

• Facilitate content collaboration with partners and ambassadors.

• Set performance metrics for channels and conduct regular reviews with the Head of Social.

• Convert analytics into decisions regarding format, packaging, and investment.

• Provide reports to senior management on content performance, audience growth, and commercial impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in growing audiences through both long-form and short-form video content.

• Strong expertise in at least one video format with working proficiency in another.

• Demonstrated ability to build and lead a video production team, including editors and specialized roles.

• Excellent understanding of content packaging and structure, including titles, thumbnails, hooks, and payoff placement.

• Capability to brief and guide editors to maintain consistent quality standards.

• In-depth knowledge of video performance metrics, including click-through rates, viewing duration, retention curves, hook retention, watch-through rates, and shares per reach.

• Experience in managing gaming or gambling-related content on YouTube and social media platforms.

• Strong judgment regarding platform policies and content guidelines.

• Good familiarity with poker or the ability to quickly gain knowledge.

• Skill in identifying dramatic, tense, or humorous moments in poker.

• Ability to oversee multi-channel content operations comprehensively, including production planning, calendar management, and post-publish analysis.
