Head of Strategy and Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Identification of management challenges and implementation of solutions.

• Structuring and pinpointing fundamental issues that hinder business growth.

• Review and improvement planning of business processes across various departments.

• Execution of plans at each site, along with the completion of projects involving multiple departments.

• Development of growth strategies for the Japanese business and formulation of new business initiatives.

• Identification and validation of the most effective measures for expanding revenue in existing businesses, based on data analysis.

• Consideration of business models for new businesses and features through market research and customer interviews.

• Collaboration with overseas locations and support for global expansion.

• Building relationships with key customers and partners.

• Establishment of a data analysis framework to support management decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Business-level proficiency in English and native-level proficiency in Japanese.

• Practical experience in a strategic consulting firm or a general consulting firm (experience leading projects, such as a manager, is anticipated).

• Work experience in business development, corporate planning, or BizOps in a startup environment.

• Insight into business growth in the B2B software sector (preferred).

• Experience collaborating with or managing global teams or multinational members (preferred).

• Hands-on orientation, enjoying a chaotic environment while being willing to take initiative.

• A strong sense of ownership.

• High level of commitment.

• Ability to perform autonomously at a high level while consistently contributing to the global team.
