Head of Sales – South

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Sales Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to spearhead sales strategies, establish headcount requirements, define regions, and partner with Halter leaders to set targets, which will be transformed into an inspirational vision for your team.

• Manage weekly inputs from your team, establish the team's rhythm, set and monitor KPIs, and cultivate exceptional pipeline hygiene.

• Mentor and develop your team for continuous improvement. Tailor Halter’s existing processes to create and implement training programs for the South team, ensuring ongoing skill enhancement that aligns with company goals. Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the sales organization.

• Team Management: Guide, mentor, and nurture the South team. Define clear performance expectations, KPIs, and provide consistent feedback. Take the lead on recruitment and performance management. Cultivate a positive and collaborative team atmosphere that encourages vulnerability and learning.

• Account Management: Guarantee a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle. Regularly assess customer satisfaction levels and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with your team to address issues and ensure customer retention and growth. Work in tandem with the Launch, Support, and Product teams to ensure cohesive collaboration at every customer touchpoint.

• Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute a thorough regional strategy aimed at increasing our market presence and fulfilling growth targets. Identify new market opportunities and spearhead initiatives to enhance market share. Work closely with leaders across Halter to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with senior leaders, along with product and support teams, to ensure outstanding outcomes for the South Team.

• Networking: Build and utilize industry relationships to establish and sustain Halter's brand presence.

• Proven experience in scaling new and existing businesses, crafting market strategies, and most importantly, a history of achieving high growth.

• Background in engaging with customers, managing intricate sales cycles, and enhancing value over time.

• Strong capability to collaborate across functions and lead teams effectively.

• A genuine passion for supporting ranchers' success. Experience in farm systems or the agricultural sector is a plus.

• An exceptional attitude and a team player with a consistent ability to overcome challenges.

• The capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.

• A strong desire for success and personal development, enabling rapid evolution alongside a top-tier sales team.
