Head of Sales and Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the sales and marketing vision, strategy, and execution across our direct channels.

• Leverage your expertise in lead generation and marketing to bolster our expanding field sales team.

• Build, supervise, motivate, and mentor a talented team of retail professionals.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to plan, coordinate, and enhance the return on investment for each product and activity.

• Revamp our reporting systems to emphasize the appropriate metrics.

• Assist the sales teams with pitch decks, product demonstrations, and case studies.

• Develop sales and partner enablement resources (customized and co-branded materials and incentives), innovative programs, and sales-integrated campaigns.

• Enhance customer engagement through email marketing, webinars, and events.

• Identify opportunities for brand promotion, public relations, and communications to highlight our products and services.

• Collaborate with the Client Services team to further enhance customer retention.

• Utilize your retail knowledge and analytical skills to pinpoint key growth drivers and areas within the Retail, Charity, and E-commerce sectors.

• Formulate annual budgets and targets that align seamlessly with the business strategy.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in B2B software/SaaS sales and marketing positions.

• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing commercial teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation, and analytics platforms.

• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation abilities.

• Experience in vertical market software or private equity-backed companies is a significant advantage.
