This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
β’ As the inaugural dedicated sales hire, you'll have the opportunity to define the sales process.
β’ You will report directly to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from identifying and prospecting ideal opportunities to pitching, proposing, and closing deals.
β’ This position requires a proactive approach, as leads will not be handed to you; you must be self-directed and thrive on establishing relationships from the ground up.
β’ A candidate with prior experience in an agency setting is essential.
β’ You will likely have a background as a Business Director, Head of Business Development, or in a senior client/commercial leadership role within a digital, creative, or performance agency, boasting a proven track record in generating and converting new business.
β’ Familiarity with the agency landscape is crucial, along with an understanding of service sales (as opposed to product sales), and possessing the network and credibility to facilitate introductions.
β’ You should be comfortable working autonomously, without the necessity of a supporting team to be effective, and be driven by the prospect of cultivating something that ultimately belongs to you.
