Head of Revenue Operations – RevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Take complete ownership of the HubSpot CRM architecture, encompassing pipelines, lifecycle stages, custom properties, workflows, and reporting.

• Design and uphold a revenue data model across various systems.

• Ensure data quality standards are maintained, including:

• Deduplication

• Attribution logic

• Standardized fields

• Lifecycle governance.

• Develop integration workflows between HubSpot, Airtable, Clay, and external platforms.

• Implement automation solutions that reduce manual tasks in the CRM.

• Create a real-time reporting framework for pipeline health, revenue velocity, and go-to-market performance.

• Establish the fundamental revenue metrics framework (pipeline coverage, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, retention).

• Provide regular revenue performance reports to leadership.

• Design executive-level dashboards for strategic decision-making.

• Create RevOps reporting frameworks for client-facing purposes.

• Conduct CRM audits and RevOps assessments for external clients.

• Identify pipeline and data issues and develop remediation roadmaps.

• Architect and implement CRM systems using HubSpot or Salesforce.

• Serve as a senior RevOps advisor during client engagements.

• Develop repeatable service delivery frameworks and playbooks.

• Construct advanced n8n workflows that connect the revenue stack.

• Automate data synchronization, alerts, enrichment pipelines, and workflow triggers.

• Integrate billing systems like Stripe with CRM records.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of Salesforce CRM architecture.

• Utilize AI tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.) for analytics, documentation, and automation design.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in HubSpot CRM architecture with a track record of building systems from the ground up.

• Proven experience in designing revenue pipelines, lifecycle models, and CRM data structures.

• Practical experience in creating integrations using n8n, Zapier, Make, APIs, or webhook-based workflows.

• Strong analytical skills in revenue, including pipeline coverage modeling, customer acquisition cost analysis, and cohort retention analysis.

• Experience in implementing automation-driven go-to-market systems across CRM, outbound tools, and data platforms.

• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, including data models, reporting, and migration planning.

• Capacity to translate complex operational data into clear strategic recommendations.

• Preferred Experience

• Experience in delivering RevOps consulting or agency-style CRM implementations.

• Practical experience with n8n automation workflows.

• Experience in integrating Stripe or billing platforms with CRM systems.

• Knowledge of AI tools used in operational workflows (e.g., AI-assisted reporting, workflow automation, documentation generation).

• Experience in hiring or mentoring RevOps analysts or CRM administrators.
