Head of Recruiting and Human Resources

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of recruitment across the company, including sourcing appealing candidates from a variety of channels.

• Support leadership in crafting compensation and retention strategies for senior staff.

• Oversee payroll, compensation, benefits, and associated administrative tasks for a fully remote team of investment professionals.

• Manage the annual evaluation process and facilitate continuous performance feedback for teams and individuals.

• Create and oversee the employee onboarding and ongoing training programs.

• Provide assistance and guidance to executive and legal teams regarding compliance with employment laws and related matters.

• Report directly to the leadership team at Legalist.

• Contribute to the growth of Legalist's team of investment professionals, attorneys, and software engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in sourcing prospective candidates within the financial services sector (e.g., private funds or asset management).

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and excellent project management capabilities.

• Previous experience with a multistate and/or international employer is highly desirable.

• Must possess flexibility, humility, and a sense of humor.
