Head of Public Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee public affairs for TRM's governmental initiatives

• Manage media relations with government entities and agencies

• Establish TRM and program leaders as authoritative voices during public engagements

• Spearhead rapid response efforts during events that may impact reputation

• Prepare statements and collaborate with communication leads from agencies

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in strategic communications and public affairs

• Demonstrated responsibility for high-stakes external communications and senior/principal-level engagement

• Familiarity with government review processes, message clearance, and approval cycles

• Proficient in the dynamics of modern communication practices, with a proactive attitude towards experimentation

• Located in (or capable of being frequently present in) Washington, DC.
