This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Creating and implementing a multi-year, audience-focused high-value fundraising strategy.
• Leading and nurturing a high-achieving, inclusive team.
• Overseeing the formulation of engaging, insight-driven propositions and securing transformative support from Major Donors as well as Trusts & Foundations.
• Managing an effective Events portfolio.
• Executing exceptional cultivation and stewardship strategies that enhance engagement, boost retention, and maximize the lifetime value of supporters.
• Providing clear prioritization, strategic guidance, and performance-oriented leadership across the Philanthropy & Events portfolio by establishing ambitious income targets, performance metrics, priorities, and KPIs.
• Facilitating cross-organizational collaboration, including influencing senior management and partnering closely with other Fundraising teams, Digital, Brand, Data, Communications, and Children Services.
• Must possess a proven track record in leading high-value fundraising operations within a complex organization, with responsibility for strategy, income, and performance.
• Must demonstrate a strong history of securing seven-figure donations from Trusts & Foundations/Major Donors and successfully executing commercially viable fundraising Events.
• Must have a clear record of setting strategic direction and guiding teams to achieve immediate income goals.
• Must have established commercial and financial insight, including experience with managing large budgets, both long-term and short-term forecasting, driving ROI, and making investment decisions based on data and insights.
• Must have experience in constructing and managing proposals and pipelines for Major Donors and Trusts & Foundations.
• Must possess excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams is essential.
