Events Technician – Temp Control, Power

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and/or OFA solutions.

• Execute installations and commissioning for Events Services and other intricate projects.

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions both on Events Services and within service centers.

• Apply mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kilowatt requirements.

• Ensure that minor repairs and major overhauls are completed punctually, to standard, and within the agreed budget.

• Interpret and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of, adhere to, and advocate for safe working conditions in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other necessary regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75%, and be away for prolonged periods.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience working with Power Generators, commercial HVAC systems, and Chillers.

• Proficiency in calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kilowatt requirements.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Capability to move or lift objects, generally weighing less than 50 lbs.
