This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement comprehensive programs and solutions for personnel that enhance employee engagement, development, productivity, and accountability in alignment with evermore's objectives.
• Take ownership of workforce strategy and planning by suggesting and driving enhancements that propel evermore forward, addressing talent gaps, and preparing the organization for sustained growth.
• Attract, retain, and inspire an exceptional employee base by developing talent management and evaluation strategies, establishing goal/metric setting and assessment processes, and implementing a total compensation and recognition framework for the organization.
• Foster and advocate for a high-performance culture at all organizational levels; lead change management initiatives that improve operational efficiency, employee satisfaction, and talent development and coaching.
• Engage with and support employees by actively listening and advocating for their needs; continuously measure and enhance employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the People Operations function, steering the development and execution of people programs, operational priorities, and organizational initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Counsel senior leadership on People decisions; conduct research, offer valuable data, and make comprehensive recommendations to inform decision-making.
• Maintain accountability for People processes and deliverables within the organization.
• Build and lead the People Operations team: recruiting, mentoring, and structuring the function as the company evolves.
• 10-15 years of progressive HR or People Operations experience in a high-growth, venture-backed start-up or similar environments; must be an advocate for employee engagement and talent development.
• Demonstrated history of delivering and executing successful people strategies that boost organizational performance; strong expertise in performance management systems, goal setting and tracking programs, and employee development frameworks is essential.
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder capable of coaching, influencing, and partnering with various organizational levels; a high degree of emotional intelligence is essential.
• Devoted to supporting and fostering evermore's people with compassion and humility, while also possessing the determination to manage complex and sensitive issues; must be a proactive builder who is results-driven, can navigate ambiguity, and excel in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Dedication to cultivating an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration, aims to achieve shared goals, and embodies transparency, innovation, and accountability; proven experience in shaping culture in a remote-first or start-up environment is crucial.
• A background of succeeding in a remote-first environment and intentionally building effective teams. Willingness and ability to work primarily remotely, with occasional travel.
• In-depth knowledge of core People Operations topics, as well as labor laws, regulations, and best practices in human capital management; experience with relevant systems and tools is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred; SHRM or HRCI certification and/or MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is mandatory. Currently, evermore will not consider candidates requiring sponsorship, now or in the future.
