Head of Operations – Automations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and oversee the entire company technology stack, including GHL, Close, Zapier, Make, N8N, Hyros, GTM, ClickFunnels, Stripe, and all associated integrations.

• Quickly diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring to document solutions to prevent recurrence.

• Address critical outages and remove redundant tools to optimize costs.

• Develop AI-powered automations to replace manual tasks across all departments.

• Reverse-engineer undocumented systems and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and system maps.

• Aim for a 30-50% decrease in manual workload.

• Create and maintain a comprehensive SOP library for all operational processes.

• Design systems with a focus on long-term sustainability rather than temporary fixes.

• Manage OKRs, quarterly planning, and cross-functional project tracking.

• Transform CEO objectives into actionable plans with designated owners and deadlines.

• Provide operational support to Sales, Marketing, and Service Delivery teams promptly.

• Oversee Trustpilot review processes and facilitate the weekly operations meeting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in operations within high-ticket coaching, online education, or info-product sectors.

• Demonstrated success in developing scalable systems, SOPs, and automations.

• Proficient in GHL, Close, Zapier, Make, N8N, Hyros, GTM, ClickFunnels, Stripe, ActiveCampaign, and Notion.

• Highly knowledgeable in AI applications - proven experience using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar to minimize manual workload at scale.

• Systems-oriented mindset - skilled at mapping connections between tools, workflows, and teams.

• Independent problem solver - focused on identifying root causes rather than symptoms.

• Proactive - capable of foreseeing issues before they escalate into crises.

• Composed under pressure - able to remain calm during outages.

• AI-native - naturally inclined towards AI-assisted workflows.

• Effective asynchronous communicator - proficient in using Slack and Loom.
