Head of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee HR, talent acquisition, technical support, compliance, IT, finance, and collaborate with legal.

• Spearhead TryHackMe's internal AI transformation by identifying opportunities for AI to enhance or streamline operational tasks.

• Collaborate with recruitment and department leaders to attract, retain, and nurture talent.

• Foster and uphold the company’s performance-driven culture.

• Manage HR operations, EOR administration via Remote.com, and employee relations across a dispersed, multi-country workforce.

• Collaborate with legal to mitigate risks and escalate genuine exceptions.

• Take ownership of Vanta/SOC2 and oversee the entire audit/ISO cycle.

• Manage IT operations, technical support, and access management for company tools.

• Oversee the finance function in partnership with a Financial Controller.

• Lead budgeting initiatives, hold teams accountable, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Report directly to the founder.

• Support scaling efforts beyond $100M ARR in a resourceful yet sustainable manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in HR and business operations, with a focus on collaboration with finance.

• Proven experience managing IT operations and business systems, including access management, tooling, and vendor relations.

• Experience in startup/scale-up settings within dynamic, rapidly evolving SaaS/Tech environments.

• Experience managing operations for a global workforce.

• Demonstrable use of AI in operational tasks.

• Alignment with TryHackMe's performance-oriented culture and operational methods.

• Ability to work autonomously with a high level of independence.
