This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
β’ Develop and implement a non-technical talent strategy that aligns with Cohere's growth objectives and business goals.
β’ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leaders throughout the organization.
β’ Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team of non-technical recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators.
β’ Create pathways for career advancement and succession planning.
β’ Design and roll out scalable hiring processes for non-technical positions.
β’ Act as the main talent advisor to Talent Leads and executive stakeholders in non-technical departments.
β’ Enhance Cohere's employer brand for non-technical talent through focused campaigns and storytelling.
β’ Establish metrics and analytics to monitor hiring effectiveness, quality of hire, pipeline health, and return on investment.
β’ Develop and maintain diverse talent pools for essential non-technical Director+ positions.
β’ Collaborate with the standalone Sourcing function and People Operations.
β’ Ensure smooth onboarding and integration with business leaders.
β’ Manage the non-technical recruitment budget and optimize resource allocation through data-driven forecasting.
β’ Over 12 years of experience in talent acquisition and leading non-technical hiring teams.
β’ Proven track record of scaling recruitment functions by over 10x during hyper-growth phases (from 800+ employees).
β’ Ability to foresee talent requirements 6β12 months in advance of business growth trends.
β’ Extensive expertise in talent analytics, metrics development, and data-driven decision-making.
β’ Exceptional coaching and mentoring abilities, with a history of building high-performing teams.
β’ Significant experience in hiring for HR, Admin, Support, Finance, Legal, and other business roles within a technology environment.
β’ Experience in designing and implementing scalable, data-driven hiring processes.
β’ Strong history of developing high-performing and high-volume team members and creating meaningful career progression opportunities.
β’ Experience in technology firms or fast-paced environments with scaling experience.
β’ Familiarity with the AI industry and its talent landscape.
β’ Experience in international hiring and managing remote teams.
β’ Background in employer branding and talent marketing.
β’ Proficiency with predictive analytics and talent forecasting tools.
