Head of Marketing – Mindshare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of four marketers, fostering an environment where ambitious concepts translate into measurable outcomes.

• Formulate Genie's comprehensive marketing strategy encompassing brand development, product marketing, communications, demand generation, and mindshare.

• Create and implement strategies that boost awareness, conversation volume, and advocacy for Genie AI among legal, procurement, operations, and AI audiences.

• Ensure that Genie's content, product launches, customer stories, and thought leadership engage millions of the right individuals through innovative distribution methods, partnerships, communities, influencers, media, and advocacy programs.

• Influence market perceptions of legal AI, contract creation, and legal operations by crafting narratives, positioning, and campaigns that help define the category.

• Represent Genie AI across social media, podcasts, webinars, conferences, customer discussions, industry events, and media engagements.

• Cultivate meaningful relationships with customers, influencers, partners, journalists, legal professionals, procurement experts, and AI communities to enhance trust, reach, and advocacy.

• Design and implement creative campaigns, marketing stunts, launches, and initiatives that capture attention, spark conversation, and create lasting market impact.

• Transform complex products and technologies into compelling narratives that resonate with customers, prospects, and industry leaders, making them memorable and shareable.

• Establish frameworks to measure brand awareness, market influence, word-of-mouth growth, and share of attention over time.

• Demonstrated ability to build robust marketing strategies.

• Experience managing stakeholders across various functions.

• Comfortable transitioning between leadership and hands-on execution.

• Background in scaling marketing efforts within high-growth SaaS or AI companies.

• A successful track record of enhancing awareness, influence, or category leadership for a company, product, personal brand, or community.

• Expertise in developing and executing multi-channel distribution strategies that encompass content, social media, communities, influencers, PR, events, and thought leadership.

• Exceptional skills in storytelling, communication, and relationship-building.

• Experience publicly representing a company, brand, or movement through content creation, speaking engagements, media appearances, podcasts, events, or community leadership.

• Strong understanding of contemporary AI tools and workflows, with an AI-native mindset focused on scaling impact and productivity.

• Commercial awareness and the ability to engage credibly with legal, procurement, operations, or B2B audiences.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to build initiatives from the ground up and generate momentum with limited resources.
