This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive events calendar across the UK, Europe, and North America, encompassing tradeshows, industry conferences, webinars, and regional events from selection through to post-event analysis.
• Regularly communicate the field marketing strategy, planned initiatives, and anticipated outcomes to the larger team.
• Oversee all event logistics, including booth design and construction, shipping, staffing, vendor agreements, lead capture setup, and on-site execution.
• Plan and execute webinar programs, which involve topic selection, speaker coordination, promotion, and follow-up sequences with the Marketing team.
• Create and manage event budgets; negotiate with venues, booth suppliers, and sponsors to optimize ROI.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure event messaging, materials, and demonstrations are aligned with current positioning and product launches.
• Work alongside the Director of Commercial Partnerships to synchronize event goals with partner marketing strategies and co-marketing efforts.
• Coordinate with Sales on targeted account lists and pre-event outreach to ensure that tradeshow attendance translates into pipeline opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with industry associations and conference organizers (e.g., SLAS, Bio-IT World, and similar life sciences and informatics events).
• Monitor and report on event performance, leads generated, pipeline influenced, cost per lead, ROI, and post-event assessments to inform future planning.
• Supervise and develop event coordinators, contractors, and agency partners who assist with field programs.
• Educate booth staff on event etiquette, best practices for lead capture, and consistency in on-site messaging.
• Travel on-site to manage events in person across all regions as needed; estimated at 20% of the time.
• 5+ years of experience in B2B field marketing or event marketing.
• Proven ability to manage tradeshow programs from start to finish, including budget management, vendor negotiations, and contributions to ARR.
• Experience in conducting webinar and virtual event programs using platforms such as Go To Webinar, Zoom, etc.
• Comfortable navigating UK, EMEA, and US time zones and travel logistics.
• Strong project management skills utilizing tools like Asana or Trello, capable of managing multiple events concurrently without overlooking details.
• Familiarity with CRM/marketing automation platforms (preferably HubSpot) for lead capture, tracking, and reporting.
• Clear and direct communicator adept at working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and executive stakeholders.
• Bonus: existing knowledge of life sciences, laboratory informatics, LIMS, or regulated lab markets.
