Head of Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will define and manage Ostrom's marketing strategy across Brand, Performance, price comparison platforms, D2D, Social, and CRM.

• You are responsible for our Unit Economics with a strong focus on cross-channel CAC optimization, CAC payback, and LTV/CAC in close collaboration with Finance.

• You will work closely with our Product and Operations teams on new product launches.

• You will develop and lead our lean and high-performing marketing team.

• You will drive the implementation of AI tools across marketing and identify the use cases with the greatest impact (personalization, predictive analytics).

• You remain hands-on and independently advance core initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a fast-growing startup, scale-up, or a similarly dynamic environment.

• You work in a highly data-driven manner, capable of analyzing relevant marketing and business data, visualizing it clearly, and making informed decisions.

• You utilize modern tools, AI-driven workflows, and automation to enhance marketing processes and establish scalable systems.

• You have scaled B2C consumer brands, ideally in energy, fintech (banking/insurance), or comparable sectors.

• Strong understanding of brand and performance marketing, with hands-on experience in cross-channel management, optimization, and success measurement.

• Excellent economic understanding: you think in terms of Unit Economics, margins, and Customer Lifetime Value.

• Absolute must: German at a native level and very good English, both written and spoken.

• Builder mindset: you handle ambiguity well, prioritize effectively, and move things forward pragmatically.

• Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
