Head of Legal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of our contract library, drafting and negotiating intricate commercial agreements (MSAs, SaaS, vendor, partnership), while closely collaborating with Sales on customer transactions.

• Offer legal counsel throughout the product development and maintenance lifecycle.

• Oversee our trademark portfolio and safeguard our intellectual property within commercial agreements.

• Lead compliance and data privacy initiatives, and keep track of regulatory changes that impact our business.

• Assist with equity and debt financing, investor documentation, due diligence, and matters pertaining to the board and governance.

• Establish scalable legal processes, oversee external counsel, and nurture the legal team as we expand.

• Deliver prompt, practical legal advice to leadership and all business units.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12 years of legal experience, preferably with a blend of law firm and in-house roles within global/US tech/SaaS sectors.

• Experience across multiple jurisdictions (EU, US).

• Generalist background, managing various topics and supporting teams across the organization.

• Exceptional commercial negotiation abilities with in-depth understanding of SaaS agreement structures.

• Experience in managing and mentoring a small legal team (1–3 members) while maintaining a hands-on approach.

• A pragmatic, business-oriented mindset — you empower the business rather than hinder it.

• Comfortable taking initiative: you draft, negotiate, and deliver results personally.

• Proven ability to operate with significant autonomy in a fast-paced startup environment.
