This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the strategy, roadmap, budget, and vendor landscape for internal IT, encompassing support, business applications, integrations, automation, and internal AI tools.

• Lead, nurture, and develop the IT Support and IT Tooling & Automation teams.

• Manage IT as a product for employees by assessing service experience, publishing delivery information, and prioritizing based on business impact.

• Administer, integrate, and streamline essential SaaS systems across CRM, marketing, finance, billing, HR, support, collaboration, and engineering.

• Create API-driven workflows and facilitate data synchronization across various platforms.

• Oversee vendor selection, consolidation, licensing, and renewals.

• Advocate for code-first automation through scripts, internal services, event-driven pipelines, CLI tools, and ChatOps.

• Develop and enhance automated onboarding, offboarding, identity and access provisioning, as well as employee self-service solutions.

• Establish high technical standards for the IT Tooling & Automation pod, review designs, and contribute hands-on.

• Manage the internal AI tool portfolio, including evaluation, procurement, administration, usage, cost governance, and lifecycle management.

• Deploy AI-powered support assistants, knowledge retrieval systems, automated ticket triage, and operational workflows.

• Collaborate with AI Enablement and AI champions to promote adoption.

• Define AI usage guidelines in conjunction with Security and Legal teams.

• Measure AI adoption, usage, costs, and productivity outcomes.

• Provide person-first IT support to a globally remote workforce, including root-cause analysis.

• Manage SSO/SAML/SCIM provisioning, identity lifecycle automation, MDM, password management, and access audits in line with Zero Trust principles.

• Collaborate with Information Security to ensure ISO 27001 compliance and audit readiness.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in IT engineering, business systems engineering, or internal platform engineering within SaaS/tech companies.

• At least 3 years of experience leading a team responsible for internal business systems and automation.

• Practical engineering background with the ability to read, review, and write automation code in Python or a similar programming language.

• Proficient in APIs, webhooks, OAuth flows, and integration frameworks.

• Established ownership of contemporary SaaS business application landscapes, including Salesforce or HubSpot, billing/finance systems, HR platforms, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, GitHub, and Notion.

• Experience with cross-system integration and data synchronization on a company-wide scale.

• Proven track record in delivering and governing AI tools, including LLM assistants, knowledge retrieval, AI-assisted support, or agentic workflow automation.

• Extensive identity and security expertise with SSO/SAML/SCIM, identity lifecycle automation, MDM, and Zero Trust access models.

• Experience with or passing ISO 27001, SOC2, or GDPR security and compliance audits.

• Vendor and budget management experience across a significant SaaS portfolio.

• Experience serving a remote-first, globally distributed workforce.

• Strong communication skills in English for both technical and non-technical audiences, up to executive level.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with agentic platforms and protocols, Claude/Gemini Enterprise/OpenAI/Copilot ecosystems, LLM APIs, FinOps-style AI and cloud spend governance, SRE-style SLIs/SLOs, and post-growth or M&A tool consolidation.
