This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.
• Create and implement a thorough infrastructure operations strategy that aligns with the objectives of the company.
• Collaborate with teams in product operations, procurement, and infrastructure design to determine the needs of infrastructure operations, define hardware specifications, and establish the company’s infrastructure standards.
• Supervise the daily activities of the infrastructure operations team to ensure prompt resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests.
• Establish and uphold best practices, policies, and procedures for infrastructure operations to ensure high system availability and swift incident resolution.
• Develop and track Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while using data-driven strategies to assess and enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Promote innovation and assess emerging technologies to streamline infrastructure maintenance, minimize costs, and improve operational capabilities.
• Manage vendor and service provider relationships, ensuring that hardware support agreements are renewed and updated promptly while effectively managing contracts.
• Create and manage the infrastructure operations budget, making strategic choices to optimize resource distribution and control expenses.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of infrastructure operations engineers, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Establish clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance evaluations, and offer guidance and support for career development.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior-level operations management position, ideally as a Head of Infrastructure Operations or a comparable role.
• Comprehensive understanding of data center infrastructure, including server equipment, networks, cloud computing, and power distribution systems.
• Strong familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices.
• Exceptional leadership and people management abilities, including performance management and the development of high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make decisions based on data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
