Head of Finance – Hospitality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You oversee the financial processes and are accountable for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• In this role, you ensure accurate accounting and efficient closing procedures.

• You monitor liquidity and cash flow, analyze financial relationships, and provide well-founded recommendations for corporate management.

• You are tasked with the professional and structural development of the department.

• You encourage individual growth and a sense of responsibility among your employees, including in a virtual work setting.

• You consistently enhance processes and structures, advance digitalization, and ensure quality, efficiency, and legal compliance.

• You collaborate closely with our CFO, hotel teams, and both internal and external partners, serving as the go-to expert for financial matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• A commercial or business degree with a specialization in finance and accounting, along with several years of professional experience in accounting.

• You possess an understanding of the nuances of our industry and are familiar with hotel operations processes—preferably with experience in hotel accounting.

• You have previous leadership experience and know how to nurture teams, provide guidance, and effectively implement change collaboratively.

• You comprehend complex relationships, know how to prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions.

• Your analytical mindset is complemented by a solution-oriented approach.

• Your assertiveness allows you to present clear and persuasive viewpoints while ensuring that diverse perspectives are acknowledged and taken into account.

• You are proficient in Microsoft Office and DATEV.

• You confidently work with digital tools and systems and possess strong verbal and written skills in both German and English.
