
Head of Final Expense Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the Final Expense Sales division, responsible for leading multiple teams and enhancing performance.
β’ Establish and manage KPIs related to production, activity, efficiency, and quality; cultivate a data-driven performance culture with clear accountability at every level.
β’ Lead, develop, and expand a high-performing team of licensed agents and managers β recruiting top talent, creating career pathways, and sustaining a performance-driven culture.
β’ Create and continuously refine sales playbooks, scripts, and sales strategies specifically designed for Final Expense customers.
β’ Develop coaching initiatives that include call reviews, shadowing, certifications, and performance enhancement plans for both managers and agents.
β’ Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to formulate shared testing and experimentation roadmaps.
β’ Establish and oversee staffing plans in collaboration with Finance and Marketing, ensuring coverage, ramp capacity, and productivity targets are achieved.
β’ Design and adapt compensation structures that align incentives for agents and managers with overall business outcomes.
β’ 8β12+ years of experience in sales leadership, with direct responsibility for managing inside sales teams of 30+ in a B2C or high-volume direct-to-consumer setting.
β’ Demonstrated success in leading a sales organization β surpassing revenue goals and scaling a business through headcount expansion and operational enhancements.
β’ Significant expertise in final expense, whole life, or related protection products is highly preferred; candidates with backgrounds in B2C insurance, insurtech, or high-velocity consumer sales will be considered.
β’ Experience in designing and managing agent compensation plans, performance management systems, and staffing models at scale.
β’ Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting, pipeline management, and modern CRM and telephony systems (Salesforce, Regal, or similar); capable of translating data into swift action.
β’ Exceptional coach and talent developer β proven history of enhancing managerial capabilities and fostering high-performance team cultures.
β’ Naturally adept at cross-functional collaboration; skilled in leveraging data and customer insights to influence Product, Marketing, and Operations.
