Head of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

• You embody a versatile developer, customer advocate, architect, and solution designer.

• In collaboration with your engineers, you are accountable for the development of each team member, including the recruitment of new personnel.

• Maximize the impact of our engineering resources through effective guidance and training.

• Fully utilize AI to enhance engineering efficiency and automation.

• Successfully mentor and develop individual contributors into proficient technical or managerial team members.

• Foster an environment where teams consistently deliver high-quality software on schedule and at scale.

• Oversee costs associated with our environments and tools, ensuring efficiency.

• Manage, train, and provide direction to engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in diverse programming languages and paradigms, preferably in TypeScript and Go, covering the complete stack. Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.

• Demonstrated success in creating comprehensive solutions (not just components), ideally within the SaaS sector.

• Proven experience collaborating with customers to build or enhance a product.

• Several years of leadership experience.

• A proactive problem solver with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

• Familiarity with API Gateways, Proxies, and Networking in general is advantageous, as well as experience with OpenAPI, SOAP, and gRPC.

• Exceptional communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated with a clear understanding of priorities—minimal supervision required.

• Committed to achieving results (we are still a start-up, after all).

• Enthusiastic about creating something unprecedented alongside a small, agile, and dynamic team.

• Ability to thrive in a fully remote setting and enjoy collaboration with a global team.
