Head of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define the architecture, tooling, security, and scaling for SqlDBM v2, transforming “we should” into “it’s in production.”

• Formalize an AI toolchain (such as Cursor/Copilot), establishing prompt patterns, guardrails, and velocity metrics.

• Recruit, mentor, and support a team of full-stack engineers.

• Establish and maintain CI pipelines, automated testing, deployment workflows, observability, feature flags, and more.

• Ensure our React codebase remains clean.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record in engineering leadership, managing 10-30 developers across multiple teams.

• Hands-on full-stack expertise: Capable of sketching a migration or debugging a stale cache without relying on Slack explanations.

• Extensive experience with ASP.NET and .NET Core.

• Strong database intuition: Knowledgeable in normalization, indexing, and warehouse semantics.

• Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock and other Generative AI platforms; routine experience with coding copilots, LLM-powered code reviews, and automated test generation.

• Proficiency in designing and managing CI/CD processes, automated testing pipelines, and seamless deployment workflows, with experience deploying to production multiple times a day.

• A proactive mindset with clear metrics orientation.
