This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the Cyber vertical along with its P&L, which encompasses strategy, target segments, partner selection, program design, growth trajectory, and performance metrics.
• Transition the CodeAnt pilot from manual submissions into an integrated experience.
• Establish consistent distribution strategies across MSPs, MSSPs, compliance and trust platforms, cloud and developer tools, as well as AI-native security providers.
• Identify, pitch, and secure brand partnerships.
• Create commercial structures, partner compensation plans, and revenue-sharing agreements.
• Oversee the Coalition relationship, negotiate commission frameworks and authorities, and expand capacity partnerships.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design seamless quoting, binding, and post-purchase workflows.
• Evaluate submission quality, conversion rates, claims processes, and partner performance.
• Enhance program operations and address any arising issues.
• Formulate the underwriting thesis utilizing partner security data and lead associated carrier initiatives.
• Represent Tint in dealings with carriers, brokers, security platforms, and the wider cyber market.
• Monitor trends, threats, and regulations in the cyber insurance sector.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber insurance, including underwriting, broking, program management, or working with MGAs/insurtechs.
• Proven experience in developing or launching a cyber insurance program, or early involvement in a technology-driven cyber carrier or MGA.
• Solid understanding of ransomware and extortion, data breach and privacy liability, network security failures, business interruptions, as well as social engineering or funds transfer fraud.
• Proficiency in the security tooling landscape and the ability to engage in discussions about security stacks with CTOs or CISOs.
• Experience collaborating with carriers, MGAs, brokers, or reinsurers to secure capacity and negotiate authority and commission frameworks.
• Proven history of sourcing and finalizing partnerships.
• Demonstrated experience in building initiatives from the ground up without a predefined playbook.
• Comfortable taking ownership of metrics and being evaluated based on them.
• Background in dynamic settings such as startups, MGAs, or program administrators.
• Preferred: experience with MSPs, MSSPs, compliance platforms, or security software vendors.
• Preferred: background in embedded insurance or digital distribution.
• Preferred: data-driven or security-signal-driven cyber underwriting experience.
• Preferred: experience with partner-facing or API-driven distribution.
• Preferred: experience with surplus lines placements, including filings and tax responsibilities.
• Preferred: relevant certifications such as RPLU, CIC, CPCU, CISSP, or Security+.
• Candidates must be located in the US, as Tint cannot support visa sponsorship for employment.
