This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the Finance Business Partner for central support functions.
• Take ownership of SG&A budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for corporate functions.
• Implement standardized monthly and quarterly reporting to executive leadership and the board of directors.
• Collaborate with finance counterparts across Canopy’s Canadian, International, and Storz & Bickel portfolio businesses.
• Oversee the consolidated annual budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning cycles.
• Identify opportunities for organizational cost savings.
• Utilize systems and technology to enhance automation and efficiency.
• Provide support for potential acquisitions through due diligence and financial assistance.
• Manage the company’s three-statement financial model.
• Supervise weekly cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Administer the Treasury Management System and daily cash position reporting.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to guarantee accurate and timely payments and collections.
• Maintain banking relationships and manage debt and interest payments.
• Ensure compliance with debt covenants.
• Lead the creation, execution, and management of the corporate insurance program.
• Handle annual insurance renewals with brokers and carriers.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, IT, operations, and HR stakeholders to evaluate business risks and insurance requirements.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
• CPA/MBA certification or an equivalent qualification is strongly preferred.
• More than 10 years of relevant and progressive experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or risk-related roles.
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, research, and business acumen abilities.
• Capable of communicating and influencing at all organizational levels.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated initiative and results-oriented mindset.
• Experience in presenting to and maintaining relationships with executive-level management.
• High attention to detail.

• Ability to cultivate productive relationships.
• Proficient in planning, prioritization, and project management.
• Occasional travel may be required.
