This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive product marketing strategy for Empower Personal Wealth.
• Direct the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for consumer financial products and services.
• Create narratives that resonate with consumers throughout their financial journeys.
• Ensure Empower’s brand positioning and value proposition are integrated across all products and touchpoints.
• Formulate phased strategies for product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
• Collaborate with leaders from Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, and Growth Marketing.
• Assist in portfolio rationalization and conduct cost-benefit analysis.
• Define metrics for product performance and report on adoption, penetration, market share, asset growth, and new-account growth to executives.
• Develop strategies for customer engagement, retention, and loyalty.
• Maintain consumer claims, proof points, and social validation.
• Prioritize the annual calendar for consumer marketing campaigns.
• Provide insights on competitive intelligence, benchmarks, trends, customer insights, and emerging technologies.
• Manage and refine customer personas and segmentation strategies.
• Establish and monitor measurable commercial outcomes.
• Build, lead, develop, and transform a high-performing product marketing team.
• Advance product marketing towards strategic initiatives that strengthen market position, brand perception, commercialization, and customer understanding.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 20 years of marketing experience.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing consumer products and services to market.
• Experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategies, commercialization, positioning, messaging, packaging, and product-market fit.
• In-depth knowledge of financial services, wealth management, investment products, financial planning, and brokerage solutions.
• Expertise in translating consumer behaviors related to money, financial planning, investing, and wealth management into marketing strategies.
• Demonstrated success in achieving measurable market-share growth and commercial results.
• Experience with product adoption, market penetration, asset growth, and new-account growth.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior leaders within a matrixed organization.
• Skillful in developing sales and marketing narratives and conveying complex value propositions to consumers.
• Experience in creating customer engagement, retention, and loyalty programs.
• Proficient in utilizing market research, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and segmentation.
• Familiarity with customer personas and segmentation strategies.
• Experience in leading, managing, developing, and transforming product marketing teams and capabilities.
• Knowledge of current marketing technologies, emerging trends, and AI-enabled go-to-market practices.
• Experience in applying artificial intelligence tools or capabilities within product marketing or go-to-market processes.
• Exceptional skills in executive communication, stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and influence.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred as a differentiator.
• Direct experience in financial services, wealth management, investment management, retirement, brokerage, or related consumer financial products is a differentiator.
• Experience in large-scale consumer businesses or complex regulated environments is a differentiator.
• Experience in marketing financial products across various life stages, wealth tiers, or investment segments is a differentiator.
• Experience in launching and scaling consumer financial products or digital wealth management offerings is a differentiator.
• Experience in developing AI-enabled marketing, personalization, segmentation, customer insights, or go-to-market capabilities is a differentiator.
• For remote positions, reliable high-speed fiber, cable, or DSL internet with a wired connection and a minimally disruptive home workspace are required.
