Head of Consulting – Digital Platform for Operational Excellence, SaaS, Pharma Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead the implementation of the AI-driven Intelligent Operations Platform as part of global Operational Excellence and Digital initiatives for pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing clients.

• Develop capabilities within consulting and implementation teams and enhance organizational growth.

• Formulate practical methodologies for collaboration, execution, and alignment.

• Propel predictable ARR growth, professional services revenue, and optimize capacity utilization.

• Convert customers' operational workflows into IOP solution architectures.

• Incorporate IOP into client reference IT frameworks, which include MES, ERP, LIMS, data platforms, AI agents, and collaboration tools.

• Oversee strategic PoCs, pilots, and corporate deployments from initial scoping to achieving measurable success.

• Create scalable rollout strategies, global templates, governance frameworks, and deployment phases.

• Establish and monitor project success metrics and KPIs.

• Manage strategic customer initiatives with a hands-on approach.

• Expand corporate PoCs and pilots into multi-site and global initiatives.

• Direct strategic customer expansion and assist sales through solution strategies, proposals, and pre-sales efforts.

• Facilitate self-sustaining growth and user adoption alongside the Academy and Community team.

• Cultivate senior stakeholder relationships across Operations, Operational Excellence, and Digital/IT.

• Encourage high user adoption, deliver customer value, manage risks, and handle renewals.

• Lead teams in delivering, reinforcing, and scaling innovations throughout the customer ecosystem.

• Ensure adherence to DevOps practices and maintain strong collaboration with Software Development.

• Champion technically proficient implementations, continuous improvements, RCAs, CAPAs, and stable zero-incident operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Pharma Operational Excellence or Digitalization in Pharma Manufacturing.

• Proven track record in leading Software PoCs or pilots within corporate frameworks.

• Experience in leading and transforming teams.

• A commercial mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales teams.

• Willingness and ability to travel.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
