This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Providing disciplinary and professional leadership for the seven-member Cloud Engineering team.
• Facilitating coaching, conducting performance reviews, promoting employee development, and overseeing personnel reporting.
• Taking charge of recruitment as well as strategic workforce, capacity, and resource planning.
• Cultivating a high-performing engineering culture that emphasizes service and customer orientation.
• Collaborating with the Business Line to enhance the service and performance portfolio.
• Ensuring sustainable management of knowledge and competencies within the team.
• Defining, establishing, and enforcing professional and methodological standards along with best practices.
• Encouraging innovation while identifying new technologies and market trends.
• Ensuring adherence to normative, regulatory, and strategic requirements.
• Contributing to budget planning, investment decisions, and strategic development within the area of responsibility.
• Fostering cross-functional collaboration and facilitating organization-wide knowledge transfer.
• Managing escalations that involve complex technical or organizational challenges.
• Continuously enhancing processes, policies, and governance models.
• Actively shaping technical solutions and serving as a sparring partner on challenging projects.
• Several years of leadership and hands-on experience in an engineering or infrastructure setting.
• Experience in the IT industry, preferably in a managed services context.
• Completed higher professional education (HF/FH) in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• Comprehensive understanding of modern cloud, platform, and infrastructure services.
• Proven experience in leading and developing technical teams and specialist functions.
• Experience in knowledge, competency, and talent management is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in leading technical specialists.
• Strong inclination towards standardization, quality management, and automation.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented work approach.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken German and English.
• Connected, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to take on visible responsibility and build trust through reliability.
• Capability to develop employees and encourage personal accountability.

• Flexible working hours based on a 40-hour workweek, with options for part-time arrangements.
• Location-independent working, allowing for remote work from home or anywhere within Switzerland.
