This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create and implement a comprehensive, multi-year Community Fundraising strategy that thoughtfully incorporates a faith perspective, while focusing on the most valuable growth opportunities.
• Oversee the organization's faith strategy, serving as a senior internal and external advocate for the Methodist Partnership and other key faith-related relationships.
• Inspire, guide, and continuously develop a team of fundraisers and a specialist role to achieve results swiftly, establishing clear expectations, ambitious targets, and robust performance management.
• Advocate for legacy giving as a fundamental long-term benefit of Community Fundraising connections.
• Responsible for the community fundraising performance across the organization through strategic leadership, prioritization, governance, and decision-making regarding investments.
• Facilitate cross-organizational collaboration by closely partnering with other department heads to enhance acquisition, integrated supporter journeys, and overall supporter experience.
• Responsible for managing multi-million-pound income and expenditure budgets.
• Must possess extensive experience in setting the strategic direction for a significant community fundraising portfolio, with responsibility for strategy, performance, and execution.
• Proven track record in planning, organizing, and leading major change initiatives that result in substantial income growth.
• Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships or community networks, particularly with faith-based audiences.
• Must have significant experience leading through influence across various functions, building high-performing, motivated teams and enhancing performance where necessary.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen is essential, including experience in managing budgets of £1m+, forecasting income, and driving return on investment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in utilizing data, insights, and testing to guide decision-making, enhance performance, and promote income growth.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities are required.
