This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Event Ownership: Organize, oversee, and implement developer meetups and hackathons in the San Francisco/Bay Area bi-monthly, handling all logistics from start to finish, including venue selection, speaker recruitment, and post-event follow-up.
β’ Ecosystem Networking: Attract prominent speakers, strategic collaborators, and co-hosts from the developer infrastructure sector to ensure that each event delivers considerable technical value.
β’ Digital Community Management: Develop, expand, and invigorate the online community platform (Slack) through genuine engagement, steering clear of corporate-sounding or spammy communication styles.
β’ Relationship Architecture: Build strong connections throughout the developer tools ecosystem, keeping the organization closely linked to key builders, relevant startups, and industry discussions.
β’ Pipeline Generation: Strategically convert community activities, event participation, and digital interactions into actionable leads and customer discussions to enhance the commercial pipeline.
β’ Experience: 0 to 5 years of focused experience in community building, event management, or field marketing specifically within the developer tools, DevOps, or developer infrastructure domains.
β’ Ecosystem Knowledge: Well-established within the developer infrastructure landscape with a pre-existing network of builders, engineers, and companies.
β’ Execution Strategy: Demonstrated success in organizing developer-centric events from beginning to end and effectively converting community interest into measurable sales pipeline.
β’ Operational Mindset: A resourceful, self-motivated operator who excels in hands-on execution instead of relying on large corporate budgets and extensive managerial frameworks.
β’ Location & Travel: Residing in the United States with the capability to travel to San Francisco every two months for events (living in the San Francisco Bay Area is strongly preferred).
β’ Compensation: $110,000 to $170,000 base salary.
