This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
⢠Take ownership of the corporate communications strategy in collaboration with the CEO, CMO, and other executive leaders.
⢠Direct communications for product launches, announcements regarding models and products, and significant company milestones.
⢠Enhance Deepgramās research and product credibility by positioning the company as a go-to source for technical insights, model advancements, valuable demos, customer validation, and a thoughtful viewpoint on the future of voice AI.
⢠Discover compelling stories from research, engineering, product development, customers, go-to-market strategies, and leadership.
⢠Create messaging, narratives, press materials, executive talking points, Q&A documents, and executive briefings.
⢠Oversee both proactive and reactive media engagement.
⢠Assist with executive communications and thought leadership initiatives.
⢠Influence how Deepgram utilizes corporate social media channels as part of its communications strategy.
⢠Ensure Deepgram is present in industry discussions that are significant.
⢠Aid in the execution of major events, including the fall gathering.
⢠Collaborate with brand, product marketing, editorial, and demand generation teams.
⢠Develop streamlined communications processes for product launches and coordination.
⢠8+ years of experience in communications, with substantial expertise in leading corporate communications, public relations, or executive communications within a technology company and/or relevant agency experience.
⢠Proven success in crafting communications strategies that enhance a companyās reputation or market positionānot merely generating media coverageāwhile managing communications for significant product launches and company milestones.
⢠Possess the instincts of a modern media storyteller: you can engage with researchers, engineers, and product teams to extract meaningful insights and convert them into narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
⢠Strong media connections and sound judgmentāyou understand which stories are worth pitching, when to be proactive versus reactive, and how to navigate high-stakes or delicate situations.
⢠Comfortable acting as a thought partner to the CEO and executive team, shaping executive voice across talking points, briefings, bylines, keynotes, and social media.
⢠Sufficient technical fluency to engage credibly on topics such as model performance, developer tools, and enterprise AI deployment. While you don't need to be an ML researcher, a sense of curiosity in this area is essential.
⢠Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and possess a builder's mindsetāenergized by shaping a function that is still developing and capable of creating lightweight structures for launches and cross-functional coordination without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
⢠A collaborative approach, with experience working alongside brand, product marketing, product development, demand generation, and go-to-market teams.
⢠Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a high standard for clarity and craftsmanship.
