This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Define and steer the agency’s growth strategy in collaboration with the CEO and leadership team.
• Cultivate relationships with senior marketers, decision-makers, and partners across key categories.
• Initiate and lead proactive outreach efforts that generate significant, qualified opportunities.
• Shape opportunities from the outset, often before they transition into formal briefs or RFPs.
• Direct pitch strategies, narratives, and presentations that secure business wins.
• Oversee RFP responses and proposals—ensuring every submission is clear, persuasive, and positioned to succeed.
• Collaborate with strategy, creative, and media teams to bring concepts to life during presentations.
• Secure new business and establish partnerships that are designed for long-term growth.
• Work alongside marketing and strategy leadership to ensure alignment between our messaging and our offerings.
• Provide market insights to the agency to enhance positioning, offerings, and thought leadership.
• Recognize emerging client needs and market trends—and assist in shaping new offerings in response.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development, growth, or senior client leadership roles.
• Background in an advertising, marketing, or communications agency.
• Experience serving on a senior leadership team.
• Familiarity with the full-service advertising agency product—from promise to delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline and close deals successfully.
• Exceptional communication, empathy, presentation, and relationship-building abilities at a doctoral level.
• Capability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
• A mindset characterized by low ego, high standards, and true accountability.
