• Identify key partners and clients to expedite growth.

• Ensure effective resource allocation and prioritization of opportunities.
• Act as the primary regional lead for business development initiatives.

• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Collaborate closely with global teams (e.g., product, marketing, technical support, legal, finance) to support initiatives.
• Ensure alignment between regional execution and global strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant executive education.
• Significant experience of 8-12 years in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership within the Smart Street Lighting/Smart City sectors.
• Proven success in driving growth in North American markets.
• Experience in managing and developing teams.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing complex, high-value deals.
• Experience in selling and scaling solutions that integrate hardware, software, and services.
• Proven success in managing partners, including system integrators and distributors.
• Experience working with or within multinational organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial insight.
• Solid understanding of Smart Street Lighting technologies, IoT ecosystems, and data-driven solutions.
• In-depth understanding of North American market dynamics and business culture.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
• Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate independently and make decisions in a regional leadership capacity.
