Hardware/Electrical Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Create hardware and electrical control systems tailored for industrial automation equipment, which encompasses conveyor systems, sortation machinery, and flow-control devices utilized in parcel, logistics, and e-commerce distribution sectors.

• This position is part of the hardware engineering team, focusing solely on design, while other teams manage field installation and commissioning tasks.

• Projects are extensive in duration, allowing engineers to transition from one project to another as design phases are finalized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience at a senior level (5+ years) in hardware/electrical design for industrial automation or material handling systems.

• Proficient in AutoCAD with a strong command of the software.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the physical components involved, including motors, drives, sensors, and PLCs.

• Excellent English communication abilities for effective real-time collaboration with U.S. engineering teams and project groups.

• Capability to work independently and remotely.
