
Hardware PC Technician – Field Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Construct, configure, and resolve issues with desktop PCs, workstations, and peripheral devices for data collection and AI research initiatives.
• Establish and maintain hardware setups including monitors, cameras, sensors, and recording devices for on-site data gathering tasks.
• Conduct hardware diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and replacements as required.
• Image and deploy systems utilizing standard operating systems and software configurations.
• Manage equipment logistics, which includes packing, shipping, tracking, and inventory oversight across the Las Vegas and Redmond locations.
• Work in conjunction with IT, engineering, and project teams to guarantee hardware preparedness in accordance with project timelines.
• Accurately document hardware configurations, asset tracking, and maintenance logs.
• Refer complex technical challenges to senior engineers when necessary.
• Over 2 years of practical experience in hardware PC assembly, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• In-depth understanding of PC components such as CPUs, GPUs, RAM, storage devices, motherboards, power supplies, and peripherals.
• Proficiency in operating system imaging and deployment (Windows 10/11, basic Linux).
• Ability to work comfortably with cables, racks, and physical hardware arrangements in lab or office settings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to adhere to structured setup and configuration processes.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work autonomously with limited supervision.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation within the Las Vegas area.
