This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain applications and solutions using Guidewire.
• Engage extensively with Guidewire PolicyCenter and cloud-based Guidewire platforms.
• Customize and develop application functionalities based on both business and technical specifications.
• Configure and enhance components such as PCF, Rules Engine, Data Model, and other Guidewire elements.
• Develop and uphold integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems.
• Build and utilize REST APIs to facilitate application and system integrations.
• Analyze business needs and convert them into effective technical solutions.
• Provide support for insurance product configuration and workflows related to Property & Casualty insurance lines.
• Collaborate with Professional Liability and Commercial Auto insurance processes and associated application requirements.
• Participate in system design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support tasks.
• Diagnose complex application and integration challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams in an Agile development setting.
• Ensure that application solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and adhere to development best practices.
• Contribute to technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Over 5 years of experience in Guidewire development.
• Strong practical experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Experience in working with cloud-based Guidewire solutions and platforms.
• High proficiency in Gosu programming.
• Practical experience with PCF, Rules Engine, Data Model, and Guidewire integrations.
• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
• Experience with Professional Liability and Commercial Auto insurance.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and debugging expertise.
