This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver telephone and chat support by performing thorough clinical assessments and directing clients to suitable resources, including therapists, counselors, and relevant wellness services.
• Execute client evaluations and utilize coaching techniques to create tailored health and wellness plans that encourage positive behavioral change.
• Ensure compliance with departmental guidelines, industry standards, and specific client needs to provide high-quality service.
• Offer services in a culturally aware, inclusive, and respectful manner to individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying needs.
• Apply sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to evaluate situations, swiftly address issues, and facilitate the provision of appropriate support, aiming to improve the overall client experience.
• Inform clients—in a professional and compassionate way—about available resources, eligibility requirements, and the services provided by the program.
• Maintain precise, comprehensive, and current records of all client interactions within the organization’s internal database system.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends, resources, and best practices in behavioral health to continually enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and alignment with specific client service expectations.
• Strictly follow medical confidentiality and applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR in Europe, PDPA in Singapore, PIPEDA in Canada).
• A Master’s degree or an equivalent graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a related field from a recognized institution is mandatory.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, with additional language skills in the following areas highly preferred: Afrikaans, Swati, Xhosa, Zulu.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and client information systems is required.
• Preferred qualifications include recognized credentials or certifications in health or wellness coaching.
• Experience working in multicultural or international settings is preferred.
• Capability to provide client-centered support, showcasing high levels of empathy, active listening, and coaching skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage high-risk or crisis situations effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a strong service orientation.
• Ability to engage in critical thinking and multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and cultural sensitivity.
• Capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold confidentiality.
• A responsive, dynamic, and positive professional attitude, combined with proven ability to multitask and think critically when addressing crisis or high-risk situations.
