β’ Identify, research, and pursue high-potential growth partners within the small business ecosystem. Oversee the entire deal process: outreach, pitching, deal structuring, negotiation, and contract finalization.
β’ Create and negotiate commission and referral frameworks that increase volume while maintaining healthy acquisition costs.
β’ Onboard new partners and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to design seamless onboarding processes and implement effective incentive structures.
β’ Take responsibility for the outcomes of the channel: the customers, revenue, and ROI it generates. Manage relationships across your partner portfolio, conducting regular performance reviews against defined goals and renegotiating as partners expand.
β’ Develop co-marketing, enablement, and cross-sell strategies, providing partners with the necessary resources and product knowledge to drive conversions. Ensure partners remain on-brand and compliant β attention to detail is crucial in fintech.
β’ Identify underperforming partnerships, diagnose issues, and either remedy the partnership or move on β you determine where to focus the channel's energy.
β’ Create forecasts, budgets, and partner-specific goals for the channel, reporting on conversion rates, CAC, and revenue in relation to these targets.
β’ Collaborate with Analytics and Marketing Ops to monitor program performance, establish the tracking and integrations necessary for partnerships (e.g., Impact), and distinguish between successful and unsuccessful strategies.
β’ 4β6+ years of experience in partnerships, affiliate/channel marketing, business development, or sales, with a proven track record of sourcing and closing partnerships that generate measurable revenue.
β’ A hunter's mindset: You're motivated by seeking out new partners, securing meetings, and finalizing deals.
β’ Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills: You quickly establish trust, create deals that are mutually beneficial, and maintain executive-level relationships with ease, just as comfortably as sending an initial cold email.
β’ Analytical proficiency: You donβt merely report numbers β you analyze why certain partners outperform others and know how to address it. You are proficient with affiliate platforms and funnel metrics.
β’ Sense of ownership: This role requires active engagement; you analyze data, formulate hypotheses, test them, and determine subsequent actions. You recognize problems and propose solutions.
β’ Builder mentality: You thrive in ambiguous environments and prefer to create the channel rather than inherit one.
β’ Nice to Have: Experience in fintech; familiarity with marketing to small business owners; knowledge of regulatory considerations for marketing content in fintech or banking.
β’ 401K, FSA, and Commuter Benefits: We provide all employees with access to tax-efficient benefit options in addition to competitive base salaries.
β’ Paid parental leave: Found supports employees at all life stages, offering new parents 16 weeks of flexible parental leave.
β’ Health benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% of employee costs and 90% of dependent costs covered.
β’ Work from anywhere: Found has offices in SF and NYC, and for those outside these locations, we fully support remote work.
β’ Meaningful equity: We believe every team member should feel like an owner, which is why we offer industry-competitive equity options to all employees.
β’ Generous vacation policy: Employees can take time off for vacations, appointments, or mental health days as needed.
