This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take ownership of the success of retainer clients, acting as their strategic partner for all website-related initiatives.
• Oversee the strategy and success for a portfolio comprising 5–6 retainer clients.
• Facilitate the strategic cycle of ideation, prioritization, execution oversight, and data-driven iteration for the websites of retainer clients.
• Evaluate performance data across SEO, Google Ads, and on-site conversion pathways, translating insights into actionable recommendations and a roadmap for website projects.
• Manage key initiatives where execution includes copywriting, design, and development.
• Cultivate client relationships with grace, confidence, and empathy.
• A minimum of 6 years of practical experience in working on and optimizing B2B SaaS websites.
• Extensive technical expertise in strategy, paid media, SEO, and conversion rate optimization for technology firms.
• Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to confidently lead meetings with senior marketing stakeholders.
• Proficiency in website strategy, including page purpose, structure, and collaboration with designers and developers.
• Excellent copywriting abilities (encouragement for AI use; output must maintain high quality).
• Strong analytical skills (GA4, GSC, GTM, advertising platforms), including the capability to set up GA4 events or advise development teams.
• Background in B2B SaaS (site architecture, demo/trial funnels, optimization without heavy A/B testing).
• Initiative in learning and leveraging AI (e.g., Claude) for content generation, analysis, and quick design concept creation.
• A proactive mindset—comfortable transitioning from high-level strategy to hands-on execution when required.
• Additional advantages for:
• Experience in executing A/B testing programs.
• Familiarity with Webflow.
• Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
• Experience in an agency setting or managing multiple client accounts.
• Skills in building and maintaining reporting dashboards (Looker Studio, Databox, etc.).
