This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Focus on Conversion Rate Optimization.
• Implement a continuous A/B testing strategy across landing pages, paywalls, pricing pages, signup flows, and checkout processes.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to expedite test launches and ensure accurate instrumentation.
• Utilize heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel analytics to detect friction points and prioritize testing efforts.
• Take ownership of pre-conversion KPIs including visitor-to-signup rate, signup-to-paid conversion, paywall conversion, and checkout completion rates.
• Maintain a prioritized testing backlog linked to revenue impact.
• Upsell System (Transitioning Free to Paid):
• Develop and enhance five behavioral email sequences based on specific user signals: ghost signups, unused credits, exhausted credits, partial feature adoption, and users nearing their limits.
• Set up trigger logic within the ESP, collaborating with engineering to ensure correct event firing.
• Write or oversee the copy for all upsell sequences.
• Conduct ongoing A/B tests focusing on subject lines, messaging angles, timing, and calls to action.
• Own the upgrade conversion rate as a key performance indicator.
• Retention System (Engagement of Paid Users):
• Create a user Satisfaction Score ranging from 0 to 100 by integrating usage data, feature engagement, survey responses, and login behaviors.
• Identify and direct four retention segments (Champion, Engaged, At-Risk, Dormant) into tailored email sequences.
• Implement a comprehensive survey framework which includes onboarding NPS, quarterly NPS, feature feedback, re-engagement, and churn surveys.
• Adjust segment thresholds on a quarterly basis.
• Own monthly churn rate and retention KPIs.
• Email and Testing Infrastructure:
• Oversee the selection of the ESP (Klaviyo, Customer.io, or similar).
• Manage domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and ensure deliverability.
• Define the event tracking pipeline (Segment or similar) in conjunction with engineering.
• Create a reusable template library and workflows for list hygiene.
• Develop a comprehensive performance dashboard that encompasses CRO and lifecycle KPIs.
• Acquisition Email (Collaborator, Not Owner):
• Acquisition emails fall under growth and paid marketing. Your role involves providing strategic insights on sequence structure and copy, as well as identifying handoff opportunities between acquisition and lifecycle strategies. You will not manage the broadcast calendar or the paid acquisition list.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in lifecycle, retention, or marketing automation, preferably in SaaS, consumer technology, or subscription-based industries.
• Hands-on experience with a modern behavioral ESP (Klaviyo, Customer.io, or similar).
• Proficient in configuring complex trigger logic, beyond merely sending campaigns.
• Direct experience in executing CRO programs: hypothesis-driven testing, statistical analysis, collaborating with design and engineering on test implementations, and familiarity with tools like VWO, Optimizely, or GA experiments.
• Strong grasp of event-based trigger architectures and the ability to specify events for engineering teams.
• Capable of producing on-brand copy while also configuring behavioral logic; this role encompasses both responsibilities.
• Proven track record of enhancing conversion, retention, or upgrade rates through measurable initiatives.
• Comfortable working with data: defining segments, interpreting performance reports, and making data-driven decisions.
• Experience with integrating NPS or satisfaction surveys into marketing workflows.

• Experience marketing to student demographics or price-sensitive consumer segments.
• Familiarity with Segment or similar Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
• Background in product-led growth or freemium conversion strategies.
• Experience in establishing lifecycle and CRO infrastructure from the ground up.
• Knowledge of email verification tools and best practices for deliverability.
